the day of boo-boos

Today, i went to :
chinatown

complete with stone lions

and ang mohs eating under traditional ting zi(s)

however, it was a disappointingly short street and the only interesting thing there was the asian supermarket. char kway teow and laksa were being sold for $10+. sigh, i shall treasure all my local food when i go home.

moving on, me and sandy decided to go to the city to bide away our long afternoon. in which we managed to do some shopping. i bought a pair of shorts, a calendar and a pretty purple bag (as shown below).

oooh nice, purple and only $15.

i was pretty happy with my purchases....until i found this:

OMG the silly shop lady forgot to remove my tag?! i set off at least 2 alarms in other shops without realising why. i only found out when i got home! i feel like such a country bumpkin. I'm really annoyed that i can't use my pretty bag until i bring it back to the shop and get that crap off my bag. thank god i still have my receipt.
